Christ, nimbate, seated facing on square-backed throne, wearing tunic and pallium, raising his right hand in benediction and holding book of Gospels in his left; in fields to left and right, IC - XC. Rev. AN/ΔΡ•/NII[...]- M/XI/ΔI/ΛI/ΠI/Γ Bust of Christ facing, nimbate, flanked by IC - XC, placing his hands gently on the heads of Andronicus II, kneeling facing on the left, raising his right hand in blessing and of Michael IX, kneeling facing on the right; both holding cross between them. SB 2398. Extremely rare. Areas of weakness and the obverse double struck, otherwise, very fine.
